Andrew Struthers kicks off his Up-Island in Smoke Tour reading from his new book, The Sacred Herb / The Devil’s Weed (New Star Books). He’ll be hitting Tofino on Tuesday, September 26, Ucluelet on Wednesday, September 27, and Port Alberni on Thursday, September 28.
The delightful Dina Del Bucchia will be launching her new book, Don’t Tell Me What to Do on Tuesday, September 26. She’ll be at Shenanigans on Robson with special guests Jen Sookfong Lee, Kellee Ngan, Anthony Casey, and hosted by Cynara Geissler.

Join award-winning local author, CBC personality and singer Grant Lawrence on Wednesday, September 27 for a literary and musical evening. Lawrence will read from his new rock ‘n’ roll memoir, Dirty Windshields, display a retrospective of Smugglers posters, and play live music from old Smugglers songs alongside former bandmates Adam Woodall and Nick Thomas.
Kara Stanley, author of Fallen, begins her tour for her new novel Ghost Warnings (Caitlin Press). She’ll be signing books at Talewind Books on Friday, September 29 and Saturday, September 30 prior to her evening launch on Saturday at the Sunshine Coast Arts Council.
