Cornelia Hoogland’s Trailer Park Elegy (Harbour, 2017) is her third book-length long poem. She sits on panels, gives workshops and writes articles on the long poem, most recently, “Killing Myself Laughing in the Elegiac Long Poem” and “The Long Poem and the Shape of the Working Mind” in “The Long Poem Symposium.” Cornelia had two books nominated for the Relit 2011 National Poetry Award; Woods Wolf Girl (Wolsak and Wynn), was a finalist. Sea Level was short-listed for the CBC Awards. Cornelia was the founder and artistic director of Poetry London, and most recently, of Poetry Hornby Island, the BC Gulf island where she lives. www.corneliahoogland
Onjana Yawnghwe, a Shan-Canadian, grew up in Vancouver but now lives in Coquitlam. Her poems have been featured in numerous anthologies and journals, including The Best Canadian Poetry in English 2011, 4 Poets, CV2, Room, and The New Quarterly. Her first poetry book, Fragments, Desire, was published by Oolichan Books in 2017. More about her work can be found at www.onjana.com.
Marcus McCann is the author of three books of poetry, most recently Shut Up Slow Down Let Go Breathe (Invisible, 2017), and ten poetry chapbooks. His work has been awarded the EJ Pratt Medal and the John Newlove Award. A former director of the Transgress Festival and the Naughty Thoughts Book Club, he is a part-owner of Glad Day Bookshop.
