Aaron Chapman & UBC Press win CHA awards

Congratulations to Aaron Chapman, who has won the Clio Award – British Columbia for The Last Gang In Town: The Epic Story of the Vancouver Police vs. The Clark Park Gang, published by Arsenal Pulp Press.

The Canadian Historical Association / La Société historique du Canada has announced the 2017 winners of the CHA Awards. The awards promote and recognize excellence in historical research. The Clio Prizes are given for meritorious publications or for exceptional contributions by individuals or organizations to regional history.

UBC Press has also received two CHA awards:

  • The People and the Bay: A Social and Environmental History of Hamilton Harbour by Nancy Bouchier and Ken Cruikshank won the Clio Award – Ontario.
  • Trudeaumania by Paul Litt won the Political History Group Book Prize.
