Once Upon This Land: Archaeology in British Columbia and the Stories It Tells with Bob Muckle

In celebration of Heritage Week later this month, Bob Muckle, author of Once Upon This Land: Archaeology in British Columbia and the Stories It Tells, will talk about British Columbia’s fascinating array of famous and lesser-known archaeological sites, from footprints left in mud on Calvert Island 13,000 years ago to remnants of COVID-19 left behind in urban landfills. Bob is a registered professional archaeologist who taught for many years in the Department of Anthropology at Capilano University.

Following this talk, the District of West Vancouver Archivist Reto Tschan will moderate a question-and-answer period about Bob’s archaeological work.
